Custom Embroidery - Hand Or Machine?
Many people are in the custom embroidery business. It takes a good machine and the skill to embroidery many designs that anyone might want to have. Some of the embroidery businesses are known for specializing in company logos. This means that if you want to have matching shirts, hats or jackets for your company employees to wear, you can easily have your company logo or slogan embroidered on everyone’s clothing that they will be required to wear to work.
There are other types of custom embroidery as well. There are people that will make special designs just for you and embroider it onto anything that you wish. If you know some one that just had a new baby, you can purchase a baby blanket, and have it embroidered with things like the baby’s name, date of birth, birth weight and length. This makes a special gift for the new mother, and any mother that just had a baby would love to have this information recorded on something special to keep forever.
Custom embroidery can also be done by hand. While the embroidery machines are really all of the rage at this time, there are a few people that believe embroidered pieces are not the same when they are sewn by a machine. You will find that many people will do the most delicate designs by hand. While leaving the easier stuff up to the machine. When you go into an embroidery shop that specializes in custom pieces, you should be able to look through a book, and choose from their specialties, or bring in a drawing or something that you would like to have made special for you.
When you have something done that is custom embroidery, you will find that when it is sewn by the machine, it is quite affordable. However, anything that is done by hand that will be rather large and harder to do might cost you a pretty penny. You should check the prices and know the amount of time it might take before you request anything to be sewn for you.
